I have a welger ap 45 that dropped the drive shaft to packer and knotters last week while baling. The end packer tine is bent and sheer knife cracked. Have fixed packer and replaced knife and now need to time baler. Does same principle work as with new holland and massey balers, that is to trip the knotter mechanism and line up tips of plunger on backwards stroke with tips of needles as they enter bale chamber. I have timed a mf 20 baler numberous times this way. Does this work with the Welger ap 45. Any advice appreciated.
