Cutting & Baling Hay

I have put off for years applying acid to my hay but after losing 100 or so tons this summer I opted to have an acid applicator installed on my new baler. It is an RBX454 fro Case IH. Any suggestions on type of acid and rates for various moisture levels? Thanks
