 Subject Conditioner Rollers Rubber verus steel

Hello, I'm new to mower conditioners and am currently looking at two different used models with different features. One is a Gehl with rubber over rubber conditioning rollers the other is a newer Hesston with rubber over steel. I'm basically wondering which does a better job and is easier on the leaf material. I'm considering putting in some alfalfa this fall and want to try and make the best decision. Thanks in advance, Mike
