Hay terms beginning with:

Indigenous
- Originating or produced naturally in a particular land or region or environment; native.
Inoculant
- A seed or soil additive, especially for legume seed, composed of specific nitrogen-fixing bacteria that facilitate dinitrogen fixation in the subsequent crop.
Intercropping
- Growing two or more crops together, planted simultaneously or staggered, with or without a row arrangement.
In vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD)
- A laboratory measure estimating the percentage of a feedstuff the animal can digest. Usually expressed as a percentage: [weight dry matter sample-weight residue] / weight dry matter sample.
In vitro organic matter digestibility (IVOMD)
- See in vitro dry matter (digestibility) disappearance (IVDMD). The procedures and the numencal values are the same for IVDDM and IVDMD.
Irrigated pasture
- Pasture receiving supplementary water to maintain growth.
